At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Storm "PEPENG" {PARMA} was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 60 kms East Southeast of Laoag City (17.9°N, 121.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move South Southwest slowly.
